Whenever I hear about Prawns ,I can't stay away from it. I am just ready to eat prawns in any form of preparation, of course only cooked. I think prawns have a very distinct flavor and that makes your dish so yummy. So what is your view about mouth watering Prawns? On one weekend I yearned to eat these yummy prawns, but you know that in the weekend there is lot of work to do, so wanted to give very less time for cooking and something quick to make these. So I decided to make a paste of masala and put it into the oil in medium flame and in between I did other household chores. Really it just worked out for me and I was too happy because my favorite dish is on my plate without spending much of time in kitchen. So do you want to taste my easy recipe? Then note the ingredients and method.....
Here is the recipe:
Prawns (medium size)-8-10
Tomatoes-1 1/2 (medium size, but generally I used cherry tomatoes 7-8 because I love the sweetness & sourness)
Onion (medium size) - 1/2
Garlic - 1 1/2 tsp
Ginger -1 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Sugar - 1/2 tsp
Yogurt 2-3 tbsp
Kasauri Methi - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil
Method:
Clean the prawns and rub it with salt and turmeric.
In a pan sauté this prawn by putting little oil. Drain and set aside.
Make a paste of all ingredients except yogurt and kasauri methi.
Put this paste in pan with oil and in between stir these masala.
When masala leaves the oil put prawns ( that we sautéed) and yogurt and cover it in low flame.
When the little oil come out from the gravy then put kasauri methi and cook it for 2-3 minutes more
And now it is ready to eat with Roti/Parantha/Rice. Hope you'll enjoy to cook and eat this dish.
