I have tried many times to make Paneer bhurji but always I wasn't satisfied . So I decided to make it again and now this time, ya I got the better result. I made it with chena because I didn't have paneer at home, so if you have paneer then you just grate it and make with this.Whenever I don't have any vegetables at my home,then I make this easy and tasty dish. Instead of chena if you have paneer then grate it and saute it with little oil, I do like this because I think if you little saute the grated panner or chena then all the moisture will go out and your dish will make more tasty.Generally in paneer bhurji doesn't saute the grated paneer, but I do it . If you are very health conscious and you don't want to eat only paneer so you can add very little amount of colorful vegetables. And believe me this will also make your dish very tasty as your simple paneer bhurji. So friends lets try to make this recipe.
Here's the recipe:
1 cup Chena /grated Paneer
1 Onion
1 medium size Tomato
1 tsp ginger+garlic paste
1 tsp Garam Masala
1/2 cup milk
2 tsp Cashewnut paste
1 tsp Kasauri Methi
I used Peas and Capsicum as a vegetables(optional)
Salt to taste
Turmeric powder
Oil
Method:
Saute chena or grated paneer with little oil and keep it aside.
Add oil in a pan and fry the onion till it becomes translucent. Now add ginger garlic paste ,tomato, garam masala,turmeric.
When masala leaves oil ,add vegetable( here I used Peas and Capsicum) and fry till it becomes soft.
Now add chena and mix with masala.
Add 1/2 cup milk + 1/2 cup water,cashewnut paste, salt, kasauri methi.
When the gravy is little thick not too much dry then its ready to serve.
Enjoy your Paneer bhurji with chapati or Parantha.
