I love to cook and eat chicken ,but I don't like to eat the chunky fibrous part of chicken in curry because this part is very chewy not tender . So whenever I buy chicken I separate out the chunky fleshy parts . And in the traditional chicken curry I use only the tender parts . With the chunky parts I try to make variety of dishes . And in this category I cooked Chicken Bhurji . Very easy to cook I just boiled fibrous part of chicken with milk , onion paste and ginger-garlic paste . And mix it with some vegetable and its ready to eat. Let's start with the recipe.
Here's the recipe:
For boil chicken:
Boneless Chicken (Fibrous chunky parts from 1 whole chicken )
1 1/2 medium size Onion paste
1 tsp garlic paste
1/2 tsp ginger paste
2 cups of Milk
1/2 tsp of Vinegar
Salt to taste
11/2 tsp Oil
For bhurji:
1 Capsicum
2 Medium size Onions
1 1/2 Medium size Tomatoes or 8-10 Cherry Tomatoes
1 tsp Cumin powder
1 1/2 tsp Garam masala
2 1/2 tsp Tomato Ketchup
Salt to taste
Oil
Method :
Marinate chicken pieces with vinegar for 15 minutes.
Now boil chicken pieces with milk , onion paste , ginger-garlic paste , salt and oil.
When chicken cooked take out from pan and dry the remaining gravy.
Now shred the chicken pieces.
Cut onions , tomatoes (discard the seeds of tomatoes) and capsicum in big pieces.
In a pan heat the oil and add onion ,tomatoes and capsicum .
When vegetables little saute add shredded chicken and saute it for few minutes.
Now add dried gravy,cumin powder, tomato ketchup ,salt and saute it.
Now add the garam masala and fry it for few minutes. When bhurji leaves oil turn off the gas.
If you want you can add little butter it will make more tasty. And garnish it with coriander and green chilies.
Now ready to eat.
