Mutter Paneer / Cottage Cheese with Peas

My husband had been craving paneer for last few days . And I had no excuse because weekend was coming . Weekend means something special to eat and enjoy whole day with family and friends . So I decided to cook Mutter Paneer on Sunday night . Generally  I make paneer at home and keep in water to store it .In Mutter Paneer I don't use any onion and garlic . I don't want to say anymore about Mutter Paneer because I know it is one of the most popular dishes in every Indian kitchen . So friends I would like you to try my simple recipe and let me know how it comes out ?

Here's the Recipe:

1 Cup Cubed Paneer
1 Cup Peas (frozen or fresh)
1 1/2 medium size of Tomatoes paste
1 tsp of Ginger paste
1 tsp Coriander Powder
1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
5-6 Cashews
1 Cup Milk
1 1/2 Cup Water
1 1/2 tsp Kasauri Methi
Salt to taste
Sugar (optional)
Oil

* Here I didn't use any Red chilly powder , so if you want little spicy then you can add it.

Method :

Make a paste of tomatoes.

In a pan pot some oil  and add tomatoes paste , ginger paste ,turmeric , salt , coriander powder and sugar (optional ) .

 Make a paste of cashews.

When masala leaves oil add cashew paste after few minutes when cashew leaves oil put peas and fry with masala for few seconds (do not overcook peas otherwise it will loose colour ).

Now add milk, water , paneer and kasauri methi and let it cook for few minutes.

Serve and enjoy your Mutter Paneer with hot and crispy Paratha or with hot Rice.
